Getting that healthy, glowing skin look hasn't been easy for me. I've tried probably everything: guzzling water, clinical creams, oil cleansing, etc. Over the years I've learned that good skin comes from within. Of course a good skincare routine will make a significant and positive difference, but acne/bad skin comes from imbalanced hormones and/or inflammation (think food sensitivities and allergies).
One of the best ways to improve your complexion is to add collagen to your diet. Collagen will improve your skin by plumping, firming, increasing moisture, and restoring elasticity and smoothness. In addition to benefiting your hair, skin, and nails, collagen will protect your joints and connective tissue as well as promote a healthy immune system.
Just like collagen, the other ingredients in this smoothie come together to give your skin a smooth and moisturized look. Grapes have anti-aging benefits, cure uneven skin tone, and encourage strong hair/nail growth. Blueberries also facilitate hair and nail growth as well as prevent hair against premature graying. Chia seeds get rid of toxins in the body and improve hydration giving your skin a radiant glow. All of the ingredients in this smoothie are anti-inflammatory and provide a natural energy boost.
